Adsense changed, but it seems that those gurus did not change with it and their income disappeared in days as their ‘magic’ schemes to trick the search engines no longer worked.
You see, 2011 is very different from 2006 or 2007. In some ways, it has already proven to be very different from 2010.
No longer is Google just looking for great content or strong backlinks. Google is now totally concentrated on making sure that they are able to keep their Number 1 search engine position by offering their users EXACTLY what they want.

What I am going to tell you is that years ago I got online with the intention of creating a web page where I could show pictures of my cars. Then I decided to offer to put up other people’s car pictures on my site, so what started with only a couple of pages, quickly grew into what I consider an authority site.

Then I read about this new way to monetize a content site which was called "Google Adsense". Well, to cut a long story short, I applied for an Adsense account (was immediately approved) added the code to every page of my site and to my amazement started making money.
I was hooked… I never thought that making money online was this easy. But I wondered, could I make money with other methods? Well, I started buying course after course and attended seminar after seminar and tried all those "other" methods, but nothing worked for me.
I am not saying that those methods don’t work, I am just saying that I was not able to make them work. It seemed that Adsense had been invented with myself in "mind" because this was the only way that I could make money online on autopilot.
I was adding content to my site on a daily basis, so more and more pages got indexed by Google and started appearing on the first page of search results. This slowly but surely increased the number of visitors to my site and my Adsense earnings went up.
