and if it will hit pretty hard?
I though it would work because

the subs RMS is 150 and so is the AMP’s
and the peak for the sub is 300 and same for the AMP

????

  1. On paper, that amp will work very well. The RMS rating of the sub and amp match.

Although, I would recommend a mono amp over a 2 channel for your application. But, you’d have trouble finding one for that price.

  2. no it wont because it says:

    Bridged RMS Power150 watts x 1 channel

you need bridged RMS power to be 300 watts x 1 channel

  3. no, just like the first guy said you would need an amp that is at least 300 RMS watts. and no this sub wont hit hard at all. You need a sub that is at least 500RMS watts to hit hard. Dont look at the peak watts because you never should run a sub at peak watts. But a good sub will run 500 RMS watts and about 1000 watts peak. And that amp is no good either. Putting a system in your car will not be cheap if you want it to be good. Except to spend at least $200 on an amp. Stay away from Kenwood amps if you want good quality. Look at JL audio, Memphis, Alpine and brands like that…

you can make almost anything match. Yes technically it would work, but honestly, the quality of both those peices are very sub par, the brands are the low end of the sub market and those are the low end of those brands so your sound quality will be very disappointing. Try to save some more money

  4. get an Fi BL 10" subwoofer it has about 1500 watts RMS ;) haha

  5. Your gunna want to go with a Rockford Fosgate amp. They are a very reputable company, they have a great range of products, they are high quality, and they have great warranties.
