Hi all, pls tell me if organisation like Adsense, bidvertiser etc ads, once they r placed on my blog using html code also track the details of the visitors like the Counters do???
like visitors IP, no. of visitors, etc???

  1. The answer is: they probably do. This is to help target the ads more effectively thus providing users with ads that mean something to them.

  2. Yes they do. Almost all of those meta-adverts are doing extensive tracking of the visitors to your site; they can determine from what you’ve put there things like:

    - time of visit
    - length of visit
    - pages visited on your site and in what order
    - what type of computer and browser they use, and which version
    - Country and ISP of origin
    - IP address

    …using all of that, combined with any other info they have on that IP address from other sites, they can put together a ton of info on the users in question.
