I have found adbrite on the net, since i was using google adsense a while ago, like a couple of years ago, and since i was being dumb, I clicked on the ads to see how much id make. But of course that wasn’t allowed, well anyway, is adbrite good to use?

I would NEVER give out my SSN to anyone on the NET. I can’t even remotely think of why a business would need it unless I was hired by them and it was for my taxes.
Yes Adbrite is safe and yes, it’s safe to provide them with your SSN – but it sure is smart to do some research before plopping your private info into a form.
Adbrite is a respected ad network and since they do payout commissions they have to report the income and for that they need your SSN.
Many ad and affiliate networks ask for this info up front, others wait to see if you reach the payment threshold that requires reporting.
