Mambo or Joomla? And Why?

First of all I’m going to create a site that has a lot of content and possible will change often. I here that a CMC program such a Mambo or Joomla is the best way to go. I’m wondering which one I should choice and for what reason. I probably need the one that is the most user-friendly and customable. And able to work with Both Adsense and Kontera or Itellitext.

    Mambo and Joomla have almost similar features because JOOMLA was a split off from the Mambo project.
